This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Engineer at CALTROP, located in Los Angeles. The Construction Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, including developing project plans, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Construction Engineer will also be involved in interpreting construction drawings and providing technical expertise.
Qualifications
Experience in Construction Engineering and Civil Engineering
Knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience in conducting inspections and ensuring quality control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices
Experience with construction project management software is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
