The Communications Specialist is responsible for brand management, collateral development, serving as a client resource for all client marketing and communications, content messaging, and assisting with IMA Boston events. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, highly organized, a self-starter, creative, exceptional project manager who is deadline driven, a multi-tasker and possesses a thirst for continuous process improvement. The ability to work independently, but also as part of a team is a must.

Essential Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values
- Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates.
- Creating and/or editing design and layout of client-facing projects, including, but not limited to: PowerPoint presentations, customized client materials, mailers, advertising, booklets, web graphics, and newsletters
- Assist client teams with creating benefit guides in Relayto. Act as a resource during fourth quarter to assist with spike in benefit guide requests
- Assist with RFP completion and attend prospect meetings to assist with securing of new sales as required
- Collaborating with the Employee Benefits Team and Marketing Team in producing design solutions that adhere to visual identity guidelines to meet the needs of both IMA and our clients
- Consistently delivering client ready, professional, high-quality design pieces
- Work collaboratively with and assisting fellow team members in both small and large scale initiatives in both print and digital formats
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
- Relayto experience a plus
- High level of comfort accepting and integrating feedback into projects
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently
- High attention to detail and proactive thoughtfulness
- Strong understanding of layout and composition for print and digital design
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Marketing preferred
