Commercial Finance Director

A dynamic and fast-moving international consumer products business requires a Commercial Finance Director.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will oversee all financial aspects of business and develop the company’s financial reporting and processes. You will delivering in-depth analysis of the results to key leaders across the North American region. You will deliver financial and strategic advice to the executive team providing decision-making support, business intelligence and performance reporting that will impact the business.

This is a wide remitted role and we require an individual who can think outside of the box and add commercial finance value to help aid the growing business.

You will be responsible for partnering with business leaders on all finance proposals while guiding the company towards long-term profitability and success.

As Commercial Finance Director your main responsibilities will include:

• Manage FP&A function and business partner with operational division leaders.
• Business partner with the commercial function to critically assess opportunities and build proposals for the business to review
• Analysis of business critical activities in order to determine upcoming business opportunities and risks
• Oversee annual forecasts and budgets
• Improve the financial forecasting of the company by analyzing business performance and making recommendations on improvement activities.
• Provide analytical and strategic support to internal customers.
• Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to deliver insights on trends within the business.
• You will have a minimum of 5 years of proven commercial finance or FP&A experience.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial finance.
• You will have solid exposure to financial analysis and forecasting
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• BS/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to influence executive stakeholders
• Highly proactive and self-motivated team player with strong collaboration and communication skills
