Clinical Assistant - Remote | WFH

We launched our Unified Care program to address the challenge of managing chronic diseases. Our team of specialists supports patients at home between doctor's appointments through remote patient monitoring (RPM) and chronic care management (CCM), with the aim of achieving better health outcomes.

Since receiving Emergency Use Authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for over-the-counter sales of our COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test in November 2021, we have played a pivotal role in providing at-home COVID tests to federal and state governments, nonprofits, and individual consumers.

With a mission to revolutionize the healthcare industry by making quality health management accessible and affordable for all, we are seeking a passionate Clinical Assistant to join our Unified Care team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing an innovative, team-based chronic disease management program utilizing devices and our Unified Care platform to support patients both on-site and online alongside other clinical team members.

As a Clinical Assistant, you will work under general supervision in a fast-paced Primary Care clinic setting, assisting with direct patient care as per established protocols and coordinating the team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize your tech-savvy skills to work with our internal messaging channels (Google Workspace, Zoom, Google spreadsheet, pdf, printers, etc.) and explain technology to non-tech savvy individuals, particularly elderly patients.

Communicate effectively with both tech-savvy and non-tech savvy individuals, conveying technology concepts clearly and patiently.

Collaborate with teammates, providers, and staff in the clinic.

Assist with direct patient care procedures and related tasks.

Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.

Perform routine specialized procedures, such as setting up products for patients under established protocols.

Manage clinic inventories and medical supplies.

Educate and advise patients on specific medical issues within established parameters, including obtaining prescription information.

Direct patient flow following provider schedules/patient appointments.

Coordinate routine office activities and administrative functions to support clinic activities.

Practice safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods.

Conduct patient outreach calls following provided scripts to schedule appointments, provide follow-up care information, and promote health education.

Qualifications And Skills

Associate degree or above is required.

Exceptional communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Demonstrated patience and empathy, especially when interacting with the elderly.

Familiarity with fundamental medical procedures and terminologies is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills coupled with high adaptability and a keenness to learn.

Collaborative team member with leadership potential, capacity to motivate peers, and a commitment to maintaining precise records.

Bilingual capability is a plus, especially in Mandarin, Spanish, Cantonese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, etc.

Proficiency in computer operations and technical platforms such as Google Workspace (Chat, Doc, Spreadsheet, Slides), and Zoom.
