Job Description Job Description Position: Chief Clinical Officer SeaView Community Services is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Chief Clinical Officer to join our team in the picturesque town of Seward, Alaska. Nestled on the Kenai Peninsula, Seward is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, including Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park. Reporting directly to the CEO, this key role collaborates with organizational leaders to drive mission-focused outcomes. The position involves guiding and inspiring a diverse clinical team, streamlining processes for enhanced efficiency, and fostering a culture of excellence. The successful candidate will be instrumental in harmonizing patient care, adapting to various payer requirements, and influencing all service lines. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing clinical strategies that align with SeaView's mission, vision, and values. Essential Functions: Clinical Service Leadership Develop and communicate clinical philosophy and standards. Provide clinical, operational, and strategic leadership for high-quality, sustainable behavioral health services. Direct clinical and community-oriented services. Develop and monitor performance indicators and evaluate agency systems and programs. Lead initiatives to improve clinical operations, client services, quality, and safety. Management and Mentorship Create a team-oriented work climate aligned with SeaView's mission. Oversee staffing, recruitment, and employee performance evaluation. Coach employees and ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures. Coordination and Communication Represent SeaView in the community, promoting its positive reputation. Facilitate collaborations and partnerships with local organizations. Build strong external and internal relationships. Reporting and Documentation Ensure compliance with various regulatory bodies. Maintain timely and accurate documentation and reporting. Other Duties Ensure safe and secure facilities. Participate in general agency operations as needed. Minimum Job Qualifications: Education: Master's or Doctorate in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field. Experience: At least three years of supervised mental health experience and three years in a supervisory role. Proven track record in service delivery and program management. Skills: Expertise in diagnosis, treatment planning, team collaboration, and managing stressful situations. Familiarity with behavioral rehabilitation services billing regulations. Licensure/Certification: Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or equivalent in Alaska. Valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification. Other Requirements: TB test, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, and criminal background check.
