Job Summary

As the Business Intelligence Manager, you will play a pivotal role in translating complex business needs into robust technical specifications to build and enhance our BI solutions. Your expertise will guide the design and deployment of reporting tools, maintenance of our data analytics platforms, and development of secure databases for data storage. Leadership Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you’ll guide the strategic direction of our BI projects to align seamlessly with our overall business goals. You’ll mentor a dedicated team, encouraging a spirit of innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement. Your leadership will ensure the smooth integration of BI technologies across various departments, enhancing data communication and system coherence. You will also lead diverse teams in the design and implementation of new BI solutions, fostering strong collaboration and clear communication. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources will also fall under your purview, with a focus on delivering projects that meet our high standards of excellence on time and within budget.

Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains business intelligence solutions.
• Crafts and executes queries to meet data requests and support data-driven decision-making.
• Translates business requirements into comprehensive technical specifications.
• Maintains and enhances data analytics platforms and ensure all BI solutions are in line with company goals.
• Develops and implements databases to securely store data, ensuring integrity and accessibility.
• Conducts thorough unit testing and troubleshoot BI tools to guarantee reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborates with various teams to ensure system integration and consistent data availability.
• Evaluates existing BI systems regularly and recommend improvements to enhance performance.
• Creates and maintains detailed reports and visualizations to present actionable insights.
• Develops, documents, and updates technical procedures and user manuals for BI tools.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a BI Developer.
• Strong understanding of MS Azure, Azure Data Bricks, and other BI technologies.
• Expertise in database management, OLAP, and ETL frameworks.
• Proficient with SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• The ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. may be necessary.
