Associate Product Marketing Manager

Prepares marketing strategies and programs for Mercury Medical and commercialized product(s). Evaluates product performance and ensures they are aligned with corporate goals and objectives. Advises vendors and/or sales team on any relevant product updates. Recommends changes to current product development procedures based on market research and new trends. Develops product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategies. Coordinates products throughout their lifecycle, from strategic definition to end-of-life planning. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Determine the demand for products, product enhancements, and services offered by organization and its competitors; identify potential customers.

 

Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the organization’s profits or share of the market while ensuring the firm's customers are satisfied.

 

Assist Sr. Marketing Manager in product development.

 

Monitor trends that indicate the need for new products / services.

 

Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.

 

Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services.

 

Consult with product development personnel on product specifications such as design, labeling, color and packaging.

 

Conducts market research including surveys for customer feedback.

 

Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services; analyze business developments and monitor market trends.

 

Select products and accessories to be displayed at trade and/or special production shows.

 

Represent company at trade and/or special production shows.

 

Work with all Sales divisions to educate, train and provide marketing tools for their respective sales force and employees.

 

Education and/or Experience                                                  

 

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; three (3) years related medical device experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
