About The Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Product Manager with eCommerce experience to join our Digital Product team. The Associate Product Manager will be focused on supporting Product Managers and their delivery teams, managing backlogs, and launching multiple special projects and initiatives across our three ecommerce websites. Our Product Team is responsible for the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including defining, building, testing and iterating on new digital and omnichannel initiatives that transform the way we do business and how our customer’s shop. You will partner with Product Managers and senior leadership across the enterprise to explore and assess ideas that leverage our core competencies and competitive advantages to meet key objectives in a fast-paced, results-driven, and highly matrixed environment. This role will also work closely with UX/UI Designers, Web Developers, and Engineering teams to drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Work with Product Managers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, create and manage product backlogs, and make strategic adjustments as needed based on evolving priorities.
  • Lead the requirements definition phase across multiple initiatives.
  • Work with agile development teams to ensure successful delivery of quality products.
  • Participate in scrum meetings including but not limited to: Daily Stand ups, Sprint demos, Sprint planning sessions, Backlog refinement and grooming sessions, Sprint demos, Sprint retrospectives.
  • Deeply understand customer pain points and translate customer needs into business, product and user experience requirements
  • Create clear, actionable user stories and documentation
  • Drive project work streams to identify and evaluate opportunities and priorities to increase site performance, user experience, and overall revenue
  • Participate in the test and learn process and proof of concept testing, validation, and competitive analysis
  • Work cross-functionally with design, development, engineering, customer service, and store operations teams to ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or product owner, with experience building consumer and eCommerce products
  • Experience on at least one customer facing ecommerce platform required, retail experience a plus
  • Experience in or ability to learn Agile and Scrum principles required.
  • Experience with project tracking software such as JIRA required
  • Experience working on technical, operational, omnichannel, and cross-functional projects preferred
  • Deep understanding and experience in writing business and functional requirements and user stories
  • An understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design, with experience in data-tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture, Heap or similar tool.
  • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills with ability to interact, influence and align with all levels of the organization, both internal and external
  • Ability to make sound business decisions and judgments in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Strong project management skills with proven track record of managing multiple initiatives concurrently, delivering high quality work under tight timelines
  • High level of accountability and ability to work independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates in a hybrid work arrangement from our Dublin California office or a remote location.

The starting salary for this position is $70,700 - $107,600 and may increase to $120,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
