Workrise is hiring an Associate, Health Safety & Environmental who will be responsible for vendor safety reviews, analyzing data and deliverance of critical safety programs. Our ideal candidate for this role has experience analyzing risk and safety data and is able to build trust and credibility with workers and other stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Vendor review and pre-qualification
  • Vendor outreach
  • Oversee vendor escalations through completion
  • Triage HSE tickets
  • Call/interview field workers in regard to incidents
  • Support PPE Platform and worker requests
  • Review and update HSE Policy
  • Advise workers on safety policies and procedures
  • Support on-call Safety Line

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Environmental Health and Safety, Public Health, Occupational Safety and Health or similar) or 1-2 years of experience in the field (with a focus on risk management, trust, and safety, or crisis management team)
  • 1-2 years experience working in Oil & Gas Industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong time management
  • Ability to make decisions, handle difficult questions, and maintain a calm demeanor
  • Strong computer skills
  • Autonomous over workload yet able to work cross-functionally
  • Strong attention to details
  • Flexible and able to switch tasks often

Additional experience preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with third-party compliance verification tools (ISN, Verforce)
  • Experience in Zendesk or similar ticketing system
  • Experience proposing and building new programs from the ground up
  • Experience building and optimizing processes that can scale
