Associate Director of Operations

A leader in the biopharma industry is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Operations that will provide leadership and management over inbound/outbound distribution and logistics, materials receipt/sampling/inspection, weigh/dispense, materials delivery to manufacturing and bulk drug substance (BDS) freeze-down/storage/shipment to ensure excellent customer service, effective inventory management, and compliance with safety and GMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a staff of 20 employees
• Recruit, train and develop a high performing, engaged and flexible team capable of meeting expectations, and responding to future business requirements
• Accountable for the staff development and performance management planning for all direct and indirect reports.
• Responsible for identifying, designing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced business environment that meet GSK global initiatives
• Develop, maintain, and implement systems and procedures that facilitate an effective flow of materials and information

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Warehouse, Logistics, Production, Materials, and Inventory experience
• Management Experience
