SUMMARY: The Graphic Designer has two primary responsibilities; creating new art work and processing print jobs for the presses.

Responsibilities
Understand company Mission, Vision, and Values and be an ambassador of MVV.
Prepare art files for production.
Create new art work and prepare proofs for customers as needed.
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, constantly looking for and implementing process improvements with prepress and preflight functions.
Pre-flighting, imposition and color matching/optimization.
Build and maintain file organization on servers, databases, and job folders.
Support production team to resolve printing issues.
Maintain a pleasant, friendly, patient attitude and professional composure.
Requirements
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and MS Office
Ability to problem solve and work independently
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preferred Requirements
Experience working with HP Indigo Printers, HP SmartStream, HP PrintOS
Experience with pre press
Experience with Variable Data Printing
Experience with plate production and design
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The usual work environment is typical of an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with no material or weather-related hazards except those associated with travel.
