How do you manage change and uncertainty in your HR environment?
I’d like to add implementing a "controlled chaos" strategy is often very beneficial. This involves intentionally creating a sense of controlled chaos by disrupting the status quo and encouraging employees to think outside the box. This can be done by introducing new processes, technologies, or ideas and then allowing employees to experiment and find new solutions. The goal of this approach is to foster innovation, adaptability, and agility in the face of change and uncertainty. By embracing controlled chaos, organizations can turn change and uncertainty into opportunities for growth and development.

How do you balance the needs and expectations of different generations of workers?
In my experience the most important factor in creating a healthy workplace for all generations is the tone leadership sets. Leading by example is key. Managers and leaders should model the behavior they expect from their employees. They should demonstrate respect for all generations, encourage open communication, and promote a culture of inclusion. In workplaces where leadership is not in tune with current culture, we see fear of speaking out, exclusion of those with ideas that are outside the standard processes, and a degrading of innovation. For a company to remain relevant and attract top talent, inclusion needs to be center of process and workplace.

How do you demonstrate your understanding of the client's industry and market in your RFP response?
It’s so important to work in an industry that excites you! If you truly love your work, keeping tabs on your industry will come easily. I start my week with a quick online search, checking LinkedIn news, reading industry news sites and reading clients’ quarterly updates, & pipeline shares. focusing my attention on how my clients are impacting the industry and patients’ health. This helps align our solutions with a value proposition to meet the clients’ goals and upcoming projects’ needs.

How do you facilitate a six thinking hats session with a diverse and remote team?
While we are all adults in professional settings, not all of us agree on the definition of professional. I always start my think tank sessions with a quick reminder, while we may be passionate about this project let’s all agree to respect each other by listening thoroughly and not interrupting. We will all take turns talking and sharing ideas.
