UCSB Department of Computer Science Distinguished Undergraduate Alumnus Award

PayJunction co-founder Randy Modos will be honored as the inaugural recipient of the UCSB Department of Computer Science Distinguished Undergraduate Alumnus Award. The ceremony, as part of a departmental awards ceremony featuring graduate, undergraduate and external awards for students, faculty and staff, will take place on Friday, June 15.
Modos graduated from UCSB in 2000 with a degree in computer science. At UCSB, Modos met PayJunction co-founders Eric Wernicke and William Skidmore…PayJunction co-founder Randy Modos will be honored as the inaugural recipient of the UCSB Department of Computer Science Distinguished Undergraduate Alumnus Award. The ceremony, as part of a departmental awards ceremony featuring graduate, undergraduate and external awards for students, faculty and staff, will take place on Friday, June 15.
Modos graduated from UCSB in 2000 with a degree in computer science. At UCSB, Modos met PayJunction co-founders Eric Wernicke and William Skidmore. Since then, they’ve built PayJunction with zero outside investment into a PCI Level 1 Merchant Service Provider and Payment Gateway that now processes $4 billion annually and employs over 70 people in the Santa Barbara area.
