    1. Win the “Google Lunar XPRIZE” international competition for lunar robotic exploration.
    2. Carry out the world’s first exploration of the mysterious caves on the moon.

    1. To Orbit
    SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket, with both the “Griffin” lander and Hakuto’s rover as payload, will be launched from the Earth and sent to lunar orbit.

    2. To the Moon
    The Falcon 9 will inject the Griffin lander into lunar orbit. Its journey to the Moon will take about three days.

    3. Landing on the Moon
    After reaching lunar orbit, the Griffin lander decreases its altitude and achieves landing by using retrograde propulsion. Hakuto’s rover is then deployed onto the Moon’s surface.
