“I had the opportunity to work with Mars on a series of articles on cybersecurity recommendations for startups. Mars was responsible for finding the material and writing the articles by the guidelines. The task required a broad knowledge of various cybersecurity aspects, especially web application security. Mars has demonstrated a high level of competence in these areas combined with the ability to broadly and extensively expand knowledge on specific cybersecurity topics. While working on the articles, he also showed great attention to detail and understanding of meeting the requirements set for the project. What is also worth emphasizing is his remarkable relational abilities. Mars has excellent communication skills and is willing to cooperate. His openness to suggestions and responsiveness simplified the achievement of the project objectives.”

Moreover, I provided moral support by chatting with some of the victims and giving them motivational talks with positive reinforcement while giving resources for employment, education, and housing. On weekends during the graveyard shift, I assisted staff with administrative duties and incoming phone calls to the 1-800 hotline because I deeply enjoyed helping endangered women over the phone to safety. -

We did not make it to the finals, but our idea was an educational social media agency that bridges the gap of trust between BIPOC communities and healthcare providers, in an effort to establish trust within BIPOC communities so that they feel confident and safe to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine. The social media agency will include social media influencers of color and BIPOC healthcare providers. They will provide transparent information to BIPOC communities about the expectations and outcomes of COVID-19 vaccinations, including access to healthcare networks of BIPOC healthcare and medical device providers.
