This is my second time working with Stitch Fix on their iOS app. My first engagement was the initial development and launch of Stitch Fix's highly-rated iOS app that has been featured by Apple.

Project Lead. Working with Compass to continue building out their internal tool for managing commissions for real estate agents. Golang, React, Redux. Interviewed candidates to build out their permanent project team.

Project and Technical Lead. Led software architecture design of a complex system involving distributed, auto-scaling binaries; high throughput serverless APIs; message queues; and data lakes. Assisted in product management. Interviewed engineers & product managers for Trace Data.

Trace Data integrates observability, privacy and security into a single platform, giving companies visibility into the flow of sensitive data in their systems and immediate warnings of potential data leaks.

Assisted in the development of a yet-to-be-released new iOS App for consumer banking customers.

Software engineer. Angular & Node. Project with the Citi Ventures building tools to help people find appropriate continuing education resources.

Citi Ventures is Citi's global corporate venturing arm, chartered to collaborate with internal and external partners to conceive, partner, launch, and scale new ventures that have the potential to disrupt and transform the financial services industry, drive client success, and generate new value for Citi.

Project & Technical Lead. Agile coaching. Rails + React + RxJS using FRP programming patterns for managing application state and reactive UIs. Working with the Everlane team to build their custom product lifecycle management (PLM) software.

Project and Technical Lead for Coinbase Asset Management. Led team of 7 engineers, 1 designer, and 1 product manager building product created for high net worth crypto investors. Product went from zero code to being announced on multiple network news outlets, including CNBC, in 5 weeks. First customers were using the product just 3 weeks later. Technologies used: various AWS services, Docker, Ruby/Rails, Node.js, React.

Project and Technical Lead. Worked with the One Medical product and engineering team to make their site compliant with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards in preparation for expanding their partnerships with other health organizations.

Principal iOS engineer. Launched the building of a greenfield iOS App to replace the one provided by Fiserv, a 3rd party financial services vendor. Responsibilities: guiding the establishment of best practices and architecture patterns, mentoring client engineers, and assisting Commerce in adopting XP agile methodologies.

Began development of a suite of UI web components available in React, Angular, and native Web Components. This open source project will form the basis of Autodesk's unified UI component library for all of their web-based applications. Project focus was primarily on setting up a reliable development pipeline that included automated build, unit & visual specs, and demo apps for the 3 supported component systems.

Assisted the Joyable engineering team in their work to make their services HIPAA-compliant.

Project and Technical Lead. Expanded FertilityIQ's offering with a video and text-based content site explaining fertility conditions, treatments, and challenges to compliment their existing offering of community reviews of fertility physicians. Also improved existing offering with advanced filtering of reviews. Work included customizing a CMS solution, video streaming, integration of content with doctors' reviews, advanced review filtering, and implementing a custom design for the content site.… Show more

Led a team of 3 that continued the work of prior Carbon Five teams to build a platform for digital management of documents related to DPR Construction projects, hand off to building owners and managers, and management of maintenance workflow. Project Lead. Built their flagship iOS app in collaboration with Capitol One's internal development team. Work included establishing agile practices, coordinating development with the Android team, collaborating with an existing QA team to establish a complimentary automated testing suite, integrating with existing bank systems, and managing a fast-growing team. Technologies used: NodeJS, Objective-C.

Project Lead. Assisted the Good Eggs' team in an effort to both visually refresh and dramatically improve the performance and ease-of-use of their customer-facing store. Technologies used: JavaScript, NodeJS, MongoDB.

Project and Technical Lead. Developed a responsive web client in Ember.js. Collaborated with the API, iPhone, and Android teams while we pursued parallel development. Technologies used: JavaScript, NodeJS, PostgreSQL.

Served on a team of 6 developers building the server-side systems for Groupon's POS system called Breadcrumb. Technologies used: Rails, PostgreSQL.

Project and Technical Lead. Led a team of 8 developers building the APIs, responsive web client, administrative interface, and data processing systems for Dabo Health's quality of care metrics platform in partnership with the Mayo Clinic. The metrics and collaborative improvement system assists physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses with improving quality of care metrics in hospitals. Technologies used: JavaScript, Rails, PostgreSQL.

Project and Technical Lead. Led a team of 5 developers building Samasource's brand new platform for distributed microwork systems. Samasource's platform is used to teach people computer skills in economically-challenged countries, enabling them to secure higher-paying jobs and lift themselves out of poverty. Technologies used: Rails, JavaScript, MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
