What are the most important leadership skills to develop for new managers in analytical roles?
Over the years, I've learned that these two soft skills are the most important to professional and personal success. If you can't present your ideas and solutions effectively, you will not rise in any organization. Furthermore, if you can't lead a team and/or be a good team participant/collaborator, you will be holding yourself back.

What are the best ways to use mentorship for leadership development?
Over the years I've found that good communication is the most essential skill. With regard to mentors, it's even more important because they are volunteering their time. Listening and offering feedback is really important. In addition, short notes (texts, emails, calls) troughout the year to say hi or celebrate birthdays, promotions, etc. are very effective in highlighting your empathy and building lifelong relationships.

What are the best ways to use mentorship for leadership development?
In my experience, mentors should come from different industries and have various roles. In addition, mentors from multiple generations add to the diversity of perspectives. I have indeed learned as much from CEOs as entry level workers. Over the years, they have offered insights and advice that have helped me succeed.
