    City's first Inclusive Innovation week
    - 63 unique events were offered during Inclusive Innovation Week
    - 43 events (68%) were free to attend
    - 47 organizations partnered with the City of Pittsburgh for Inclusive Innovation Week and the Roadmap for Inclusive Innovation
    - 74% of organizations, 34 total, were new partners
    - 13 neighborhoods within the city of Pittsburgh participated in hosting events

  • NYS 2100 - Recommendations to Improve the Strength and Resilience of the Empire State’s Infrastructure

    In this landmark report following one of the world’s most expensive disasters, Sam drafted the land use planning chapter of the report which was aimed at improving the resilience and strength of New York State’s infrastructure in the face of natural disasters and other emergencies. Sam also provided detailed peer review on the overall cross-cutting theme sections of the report to ensure that resilience planning principles were clearly integrated in the final outputs.
