Many of you have heard the news that Woodwind & Brasswind is merging with our sister brand Music & Arts. https://lnkd.in/gwBvej5a Our WWBW team will be shifting over to Music & Arts and will be able to provide the best of both brands with a great internet sales team and over 250 retail stores across the country. Repairs, rentals, and onsite school service will be added for many of our WWBW customers. We would like to bid a fond farewell to the WWBW brand. Founded in 1978 by Dennis Bamber, it was an idea whose time had come. Bringing a wider selection of musical items to a broader group of customers and discounted pricing for all. We’re thankful for the tireless efforts of several key employees that built the company, Dennis, Joe Hickner, Bobby Wantuch, Bruce Morrow, John Boles, Jerry Opdycke, Sue Shockey, Dave Yoder, Steve Zapf, and Kurt Witt to name just a few. I scrolled through the LinkedIn connection list for WWBW and was reminded that we’ve helped bring music to so many in so many ways, teachers, performers, and maybe most importantly regular folks who love to play and have music in their lives. It was humbling to see the wide variety of people who looked to us to help keep music in their lives. We’ll do our very best to bring you everything you’ve grown to expect from WWBW as we operate under the Music & Arts banner. We’re going to take it from the top and play the second movement for you.
