The June monthly jobs report – released last week – showed signs that the U.S. labor market may be losing a little of its steam after a long winning streak. In a recent CNN article, Wilmington Trust Chief Economist Luke Tilley highlighted the importance of monitoring for any signs of slackening employment conditions. Following the May CPI report, Chief Economist Luke Tilley shared that the Fed doesn’t need to cut rates in July in order to contribute to broadening performance.
