A belated congratulations to our May coach of the Month, Adam Newton. Adam is a 1st year student at USW, who has spent the last 3 months coaching in America, California. Operations Manager for the region, Lewis McDonnell described Adam as an “invaluable member of staff, with has demonstrated unwavering levels of professionalism and reliability since the very start”. Adam has shown his versatility by working both Foster City and Redwood City AYSO programs this Spring. He has individually led the AYSO program in Redwood City, rising to the challenge and proving himself to be an excellent coach. Congratulations Coach Adam!

Meet Bethany from Brighton. She is currently on the first year of her masters. From coaching her local team, Premier United & coaching in various primary schools, Bethany has spent her last few years coaching in LA. Out in the states, she coaches at: Spring league academies, summer camps and helps with coach mentoring. In her spare time, she loves to explore California, go to sporting events, relax at the beach, spend time with host families and kayak with other coaches. Bethany had this to say about her student and coaching Journey so far. “Being on the masters and with UKIS has allowed me to expand my knowledge and experience in coaching both in England and America”.
