About us

Our Beginning. Titus Regional Medical Center was born as Titus County Memorial Hospital by an official act of the Texas Legislature in 1953. Since that day, we have been serving our community by providing healthcare to the families of Northeast Texas. From our humble beginnings, we have grown into an integral part of our community as an independent health system. And we are still growing. Our Mission. Your health system of choice, dedicated to healing and well-being through a culture of excellence and compassion. Our Passion. We believe true quality health care begins with treating our patients as we would treat family - with all the expertise, compassion and care we have to give. From the moment you come through our doors, our goal is to help you achieve your best possible outcome. Our Promise. We believe keeping a promise is as important as making it, and we promise to honor our core values of integrity, personal accountability and commitment to excellence. We pledge to be there when you need us to provide expert medical services and compassionate care using advanced technology. Your Care. We believe in serving the heart of northeast Texas. Our physicians, providers, nurses and staff are united in their passion and vision to deliver patient-focused care. If you're looking for preventative and wellness care or require medical, surgical or trauma services, Titus Regional Medical Center is here for you.

  • Recently we celebrated the 30 years of dedicated service of Rena Clymer. 🌟 Rena leads our Health Information Management (HIM) team, ensuring patient safety and informed healthcare decision-making. HIM helps patients access their records online and ensures that patient data is safe. HIM also helps providers coordinate patient care by providing real-time information to doctors, nurses, and physical therapists. Rena and her team work daily to serve our patients, providers, and staff. We appreciate her had work and dedication to our health system and OUR community.

  • Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC) earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit watchdog. Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries, and infections as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them. Chief Nursing Officer, Kathy Griffis states, “Our nursing, quality and patient care teams continually focus on hardwiring evidenced based and standardized best practices that increase safety and optimize the care of our patients. We diligently track and publish data transparently in our quest to achieve high reliability and zero harm. We are extremely proud of the hard work of our Titus team in the achievement of the coveted Leapfrog A Safety Grade.” “Everyone who works at Titus Regional should be proud of this ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade,” said Leah Binder, president and CEO of The Leapfrog Group. “It takes complete dedication of everyone at every level, and an ironclad commitment to putting patients first. I thank TRMC, its leadership, clinicians, staff, and volunteers for caring so deeply for its patients and their safety.” The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program focused exclusively on preventable medical errors, infections and injuries that kill more than 500 patients a day nationally. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice annually, in the fall and spring. “I’m excited for the announcement of this national recognition,” shared Chief Executive Officer Terry Scoggin. “Thank you to each member of the TRMC Team, Nursing Leadership, Medical Staff, Board of Managers, and our Community Partners for their roles in this achievement.  The outstanding work completed is a testament of the passion poured into this community every day to ensure each patient has the highest standard of quality care. TRMC is raising the bar for overall health and wellness in OUR communities and living our vision of being a catalyst in rural America.” To see TRMC’s full grade details and to access patient tips for staying safe in the hospital, visit HospitalSafetyGrade.org and follow The Leapfrog Group on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram and via The Leapfrog Group newsletter.
