Her journey in education began at the highest-performing school in rural Louisiana, where she distinguished herself by achieving the highest English scores in the district. Recognized as a teacher-leader, Rayven was handpicked by the state to contribute to the design of the Guidebooks curriculum and serve on the Instructional Review Committee. During her tenure as high school principal at St. John the Baptist Schools, Rayven oversaw a significant transformation in academic performance and school culture.
