SeaView believes in providing accessible behavioral healthcare for ALL. That's why we offer a Financial Assistance Fund! ⬇️ Who is this for? • Individuals seeking behavioral health services who do not qualify for SeaView’s Sliding Fee Scale and who are not eligible for Alaska Medicaid. • Most individuals seeking financial assistance in this category would be identified as middle income or hold commercial insurance plans, but are considered underinsured by having high deductibles and co-pays for services. What does it do? • Provides up to $750 in assistance to qualified individuals. • Ensures that qualified individuals can begin the process of accessing needed behavioral health services with limited out of pocket costs. How to apply! • Inquire at your intake appointment. • Complete the application with our admissions team prior to your first clinical appointment. • Follow up! Give us a call at (907)-224-5257 to inquire about your application status. *This fund was made possible by a grant from the Seward Community Foundation* #AssistanceFund #BehavioralHealth #Healthcare #Accessibility #SeaView #SewardAK #AlaskaCommunity #Apply #Inquire #Eligibility #Grant

July is #BIPOC Mental Health Month and to kick it off we're sharing this powerful quote that reminds us of the resilience many individuals develop in the face of systemic challenges and cultural stigma. While strength is admirable, it's equally important to acknowledge that seeking help is a sign of courage, not weakness. #BIPOCMentalHealthMonth #Strength #AmplifyVoices #MentalHealthMatters #MinorityMentalHealth #Vulnerability #BIPOCQuote

These phrases might sound like mere excuses to some, but for individuals battling Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, they're lifelines. ⚓ Understanding and identifying PTSD language is key to fostering empathy and support. 🗣️ #PTSDAwarenessDay #SeaView #Community #Support #Trauma #Healing #Tips

As we close out #MenMentalHealthMonth, we're challenging you to open up and ask for help this week! 🗣️ Day 1: Reflect Set aside 10-15 minutes to check in with yourself. How are you *really* feeling? Reflect on any stressors, worries, or emotions you’ve been experiencing lately. You can do this in a journal (no guys, journals aren't just for girls) or in your notes app on your phone! Day 2: Share Reach out to a close friend or family member. Share one thing from your journal/notes app that you feel comfortable discussing. It doesn’t have to be deep—just start the conversation. Day 3: Connect We encourage you to go out and join a men's support group. Can either be online or in person, whichever you prefer. Get the chance to participate in a discussion or simply listen to others’ experiences. Day 4: Educate Spend some time researching. Learn about different types of therapy, mindfulness exercises, coping skills, and support options that are available to you. Day 5: Ask for help Identify a small issue or challenge you’ve been facing and ask someone for advice or assistance. If you don't feel comfortable talking to a family member, reach out to a close friend or colleague. Day 6: Professional support If you haven’t already, make an appointment with a mental health professional. Even a single session can make a difference. Day 7: Recap and plan Reflect on your week and the progress you’ve made. Plan how you will continue to open up and seek help in the future. Write down your goals and any strategies that worked well for you. #MensMentalHealthChallenge #MentalHealthMatters #SeaView #Seward #Community #Support #SeekHelp #MensHealth #Therapy #Resources
