“From emails to loss run reports, around 80% of all commercial underwriting data is unstructured, typically requiring some sort of natural language to understand, act on it, or do something with it.    And as a result, underwriters spend around 40% of their time on tasks such as reading emails, documents, summarizing communications, manually processing data into systems, creating huge inefficiencies and capacity crunch points across the entire operation.”    In the clip below, Roots Automation’s Chris Gayner sets the scene for our most recent roundtable discussion on the topic of “Unlocking Value with AI-Powered Underwriting.”      And if you’re one of the 80-90% of insurers who haven’t actually moved the AI test out of the lab and into production, you’ll want to watch the full on-demand webinar: https://lnkd.in/eAsY8mRS #AI #InsuranceDocumentAI #Underwriting #Insurance

AI 'Coworkers' NOT... ❌ Co-Pilots ❌ AI Agents ❌ RPA Bots This is a shift in mindset when thinking about AI and Automation across the modern organization. 🏆 Effectively augmenting people requires a human equivalent baked into the very fabric of a product or technology (not a stack of disparate, disconnected tools). 💬 🗨 You should be able to interact, engage, train, and coach your AI Coworker like you would a person - via a single interaction using natural language - without the need for a CoE or significant IT management. 📄 Your AI Coworker should be able to understand contextual cues, in addition to process/decision logic, when dealing with structured and unstructured data held within emails, documents, systems etc. And they shouldn't break at the sight of a simple exception. 🎓 Your AI Coworker should have deep knowledge and understanding of a niche area, vertical or complex job-to-be-done - and continually learn as they do their job. Yes, they should be doing jobs (boring, administrative, manual jobs that you hate doing), not just tasks. At Roots Automation, we call them Digital Coworkers. And our customers flipping love them. (holler at me if you want to find out more) Other folk are starting to call them AI Coworkers (see article in link) 💡💡 💡 What would you do with an army of AI-Powered Digital Coworkers at your disposal? #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #DigitalCoworker #AICoworker #People #Business #technology #FutureOfWork #Insurance https://lnkd.in/eztShaNn
