Nortest Analytical, Chemistry & Microbiological Laboratory, part of the Northern Arizona division of RMA’s Western Technologies , has completed phase 3 of 10, line disinfection testing services for the Transcanyon Waterline replacement project. The project involves replacing a waterline installed in 1965 at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The waterline, located within Grand Canyon National Park, extends from the South Rim’s highest point to Phantom Ranch along the Colorado River. Covering approximately 12.5 miles, it descends about 4,800 feet in elevation. Due to the challenging terrain, helicopters are typically used to access the canyon and deliver equipment. However, when wind and visibility are poor, personnel must hike in and out. Congratulations to Western Technologies and Nortest Analytical on this critical infrastructure project!

The University of California, San Francisco Heath recently broke ground on the Helen Diller Hospital project. RMA’s RMA Group, Inc. team in Northern California is onsite of this monumental project as the sole provider of special inspections and material testing for the project. The $4.3 Billion state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to open in 2030, providing advanced and basic healthcare services to those in San Francisco, the Bay Area, and throughout California. Construction of the total campus will take place in the over the next six years and will drastically increase the ability to serve the immediate and future residents of the region.
