The Earth was made to thrive in natural harmony, like music — or poetry. But we have taken too much for too long, and now we've fallen out of rhythm. We need bold solutions today if we hope to sustain Earth's fragile balance tomorrow. That's why we've composed a strategy to help restore harmony between human and nature. We're proud to announce the publication of POET's inaugural sustainability report, available at poet.com/sustainability.

For almost 40 years, we've been changing the world through sustainable, plant-based biofuels & bioproducts.
About us
At POET, we are changing the world for the better while leaving a legacy that promotes health and sustainability through renewable biofuels and bioproducts. We believe in creativity from common sense. We believe the solution to our nation's growing energy crises is not some far-flung work of science fiction. It's the domestic energy we're producing today. The people of POET are currently replacing millions of barrels of imported oil every year with clean, renewable energy, all while pumping billions of dollars back into the American economy. In our three-plus decades on the job, POET has developed an unmatched record in technology, reliability, and efficiency. That's a legacy we intend to pass on. And every day we keep building on it. Today, we have a network of 34 plants in eight states and produce more than 3 billion gallons of biofuels annually. More important than volume is the efficiency with which we produce our products. POET provides turnkey development, design, engineering, construction, management and marketing services for our plant network. Our facilities are the most successful and profitable in the industry. Our technologies were developed and refined through years of hard work and collaboration with leaders in clean technology, biochemistry and animal nutrition. As a result, we reap more value from a bushel of corn than anyone. In addition to biofuels, we've perfected the leading brand of premium dried distillers grains with solubles on the market, Dakota Gold®.

The 644,000 domestic jobs that the United States has supported in the industrial bioeconomy contributed US$210 billion to the nation's gross domestic product and drove US$49 billion in wages. That adds up to a job multiplication factor of 12, which is over double the typical job multiplication factor for this sector! 🤯 Read more about how biofuels are changing the world in a positive way at https://bit.ly/3RMLa0K.

Biofuels are readily available, American-made, and affordable at the gas pump. We can't think of a reason not to choose biofuels over traditional gasoline — especially during this period of record-high gas prices. Find biofuel blends like E15 (15% bioethanol) near you at getbiofuel.com/fuelfinder.
