Her leadership comes at a pivotal point in our history, where increasing access to abortion and meeting the needs of our community has never been more important. Today marks two years since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, ending federal protections for abortion access. Since then, we've witnessed attacks on sexual and reproductive health on all fronts. But we have also seen historic wins, like right here in Ohio, where the passing of the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment last November enshrined abortion rights in the state constitution. But the fight isn't over. We know people should have the freedom to make their own decisions about their bodies, lives, and futures. We are committed to challenging remaining restrictions on abortion, and to expanding the reproductive health care services that our community needs. 🚨 BREAKING: Today SCOTUS unanimously ruled that a group of anti-abortion physicians does not have standing to challenge the FDA’s approval of mifepristone. Mifepristone will remain on the market and accessible in states where abortion is legal. While we celebrate today's ruling, we know the fight isn't over yet.
