Today officially marks two years since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and ended federal protections for abortion, and our rights are still under attack across the country. Planned Parenthood has provided reproductive and sexual health care for over 100 years, and we will never stop fighting to protect patients' access to the care they need - including abortion - no matter what.

“There's no reason for this care to be siloed,” says Arnold, who is very public about her offerings, which include abortions up to 12 weeks of pregnancy and gender-affirming care. “I don't feel like it's any different than my management of diabetes or chronic pain or endometriosis — this is just a routine part of my day.” TL;DR - Abortion is health care.

One in four women will require an abortion in their lifetime but, since May 1, our patients have been living under the restrictions of a near total abortion ban, barring access to abortion after 6 weeks of pregnancy with NO meaningful exceptions. It has been a terrifying time for our patients, our staff, and our supporters. But Planned Parenthood is built for this moment! CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE STUDENTS: Applications are now open for Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida's Peer Education Program! This program teaches students about sexual health so they can help guide their peers in making healthy decisions about their bodies and relationships. Peer Educators take what they learn in weekly meetings out into the community, supporting friends and peers between classes, outside of school, and beyond, all while earning a paid stipend or volunteer hours!
