Our research shows that: ➕ Employees responding favorably to survey items about the handling of organizational change management, and who agreed they were supported to adapt to change, were 2X and 1.6X more likely to be fully engaged. ➖ Negative views on organizational change management lead to a significant drop in employee advocacy and referral behavior.     Nearly 41% of managers rated themselves as excellent, but only 29% of employees said the same about their managers. What’s at the root of this disconnect? #Communication. Bosses who were rated lowest on responsiveness were 25x more likely to be cast as #BadBosses, while those rated highest were 5x as likely to be cast as #GoodBosses.     Perceptyx data shows that 42% of workers identify as lonely, and lonely workers were 1.5x likelier to be disengaged. What’s driving this alarming trend? LOCATION ➡️ Hybrid environments, combining both remote and in-person work, have the lowest levels of reported loneliness. MEETINGS ➡️ Employees with meeting-heavy schedules were 2x as likely to say they were “very lonely” versus those with fewer meetings. GENDER ➡️ Men are 2x more likely than women to say they were very lonely. SENIORITY ➡️ Senior leaders were 2x more likely to feel lonely as compared to middle managers or individual contributors.
