I recently had the pleasure of visiting ONEOK employees at some of our #naturalgas gathering and processing facilities in North Dakota and at a natural gas storage facility in Depew, Oklahoma.   Our employees are our best ambassadors, and I deeply value these opportunities to connect with them where they work and live.   We differentiate ourselves from our competitors thanks to - in part - the reliability of our integrated systems and the use of innovative #technologies like automated pigging.    But what truly sets us apart is our service and excellence-minded employees that drive the safe and reliable operations of our assets every day.   My conversations with them underscored my belief that our culture - driven by our core values - is the vehicle that will keep us on the right path.   Relationships matter, and I’m so proud of how our people live the ONEOK values and invest their time, effort, and resources to serve our customers. Thank you for your hospitality and for the work that you do to help transform our #energy future and bring value to our stakeholders.

Shaun Stroh: senior pipeline operator, and a Hall of Famer. A ONEOK employee of more than five years, Shaun was recently inducted into the North Dakota Cowboy Hall-Fame. “The rewarding part is seeing the outcomes in the young people’s lives and knowing you had a good influence on what they became and are becoming.” Meet Jason Black, a Business Systems Specialist from Kansas, and one of our 2023 Volunteers of the Year. When he isn’t analyzing data for ONEOK, he’s on the #baseball field tracking stats to develop young players. Coaching baseball allows him to be close to the game and instill life skills for young people through goal setting and personal development within the culture of a team. #ONEOKGivesBack

"My granddad was a major part of my life." Meet William Hicks, a pipeline operator from Weatherford, Texas, and one of our 2023 Volunteers of the Year. Honoring his granddad, William focuses on making a difference in developing youth. Each day after work, he volunteers as a football and baseball coach with Millsap Youth Association. It’s been a developmental process for Hicks as he learns to best coach each player on their individual needs. In addition to sports, this sentiment extends to another organization he volunteers with. He serves as a guide in the youth hunter program with the Texas Wildlife Association. A scoutmaster for years, Hicks saw this as a natural step to help. “He took me on my first hunting trip, and I took him on his last. If we were not hunting, we would be watching hunting videos. It is an important thing. We are building memories with these kids.” #ONEOKGivesBack

Finding #talent can be a challenge. But thanks to events like the recent ONEOK Day #career fair – hosted by our partners at the Bakken Area Skills Center in Watford City, North Dakota – we’re able to offer hands-on learning experience for students and provide inspiration for their future careers.

How do you learn if you don't ask?" – Dison Puntillo   In celebration of #PrideMonth, a panel of ONEOK employees who identify as LGBTQ+, have family members who identify as LGBTQ+ or are allies of the community joined together to share personal experiences and ways allies can support an inclusive workplace.

Today, in recognition of #Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and our Black and African-American colleagues of ONEOK.  While we have made great strides in the pursuit of equality and justice, #FreedomDay reminds us that learning, listening, and striving for change must continue.
