Obayashi with JV partner participated in this year’s “Toys for Tots” project of the U.S. Marines. Toy collection boxes were delivered across Guam, and we filled the box all the way to the top with new/unwrapped toys. We received a recognition certificate for JV’s participation and for giving back to the community.

Over the weekend, some of Obayashi's dedicated team, along with our JV members, took time out of their days off to join forces for a cleanup at “The Taguan Trail (1,000 Steps)” in Mangilao, Guam. We were there to protect the invaluable medicinal plants that have been the island's natural pharmacy for centuries. Volunteering for such a cause was truly an honor, and we're proud to contribute to the preservation of this significant location. #Sustainability #Teamwork #ProtectingNature #WeekendVolunteering

We started a new CMGC project with the Golden State Bridge Team on Yerba Buena Island! The seismic retrofit project replaces the original ramp bridges with new roadway and retaining walls connecting the Bay Bridge to the west side of the Island. The best part is a project with a great view! Downtown San Francisco, the Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz! Our project team stays focused on safety, quality and productivity with a great backdrop.

Obayashi Corporation is proud of the great team and the great on our new project in Columbus Ohio! Big Walnut Sanitary Trunk Extension Phase-2 consists of the construction of 12,350 linear feet of 72-inch diameter sanitary sewer via an open face tunnel boring machine (TBM) through shale rock. Our team is currently excavating the shaft tunnel where its TBM will be launched.
