Dr. Darga is board-certified in psychiatry. She cares for patients with conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, ADHD and addiction. Join us in welcoming Ernest Hall, behavioral health nurse practitioner, to our Ladysmith team. He sees adult patients for mental and behavioral health concerns and treatments, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as well as many others. “In my field, it’s vital to listen. Not just to make a diagnosis, but to make a plan that people embrace because they have taken part in creating it. Shared decision making is a dynamic approach with the patient at the center of their personalized care,” he said. Learn more about Ernest here: https://lnkd.in/gvdkVD-U

We’re celebrating at Mosinee Center today as Susie Durst marks her 45th anniversary with Marshfield Clinic Health System! Susie was hired as a medical transcriptionist in 1979. Her role has shifted a bit over the years. She is now a medical secretary team lead in Mosinee, a place very close to her heart. "I have always been part of the Mosinee clinic," said Susie. "I was one of the employees who was asked to shovel the first load of dirt for our current location." When asked what the future holds, Susie will only say it is a secret. But every day she remains on the job, it's certain she will have a positive impact on patients. "I enjoy my job and each and every person I have worked for during my 45 years," said Susie. "There have been many changes at Mosinee Center, but one thing that has always remained constant is that the patient is #1. Without them, I would not be here." Thank you Susie for all that you’ve done and continue to do for our patients and community!

A group of leaders from Marshfield Clinic Health System recently completed the “We’re All in This Together”: Tools to Support Strategic Imperatives program. Culture is a set of active and engaged relationships working towards a shared goal. It is influenced by all stakeholders in an organization. The “We’re All in This Together”: Tools to Support Strategic Imperatives program utilized a framework that supported teaching strategies to engage, enable and energize team members through the three skills of building safety, sharing vulnerability and establishing purpose. Participants learned strategies and tools to support improving the outcomes of patients, team members and leaders, in a current climate of ongoing organizational change. Participants pictured below are: Corey Turnquist, Keith Hermann, Jess Gaffney, Meghan Rossato, Jackie Soward, Cheryl Kneifl, Laura Boudreau, Nikki Lightfoot, Kathy Boushon, Deann Dickinson, Nicole Dilger, Aric Zabel, Keri Manecke, Bob Chaloner (Leader Sponsor – President of Marshfield and Neillsville centers), Rachelle Tuyls, Becca Normington, and Tamara Cox. (Facilitators) Tara Mannigel and Janene Beck-Hafner. Missing from the photo: Lea Buckridge, Cindy Wildish-Rasmussen, and (Facilitator) Margie Hackbarth. Congrats to the team who were the first in the world to use a new approach for ovarian cancer surgery since it was FDA-approved. The team used a novel imaging agent, CYTALUX, in combination with the Stryker 1788 imaging platform for ovarian cancer surgery after it received U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval. The new technology, CYTALUX, aids in ovarian cancer cytoreduction, or surgery to remove the tumor and any nearby tissues the cancer spread to. Excited to bring this groundbreaking treatment to those that live in rural communities! Learn more https://lnkd.in/gGZVP-wf
