The MedCat, also known as the BearCat MedEvac, is Lenco’s answer to a tactical ambulance platform. Often, combat medics must provide life-saving care under battlefield conditions, requiring rapid response and safe evacuation. McPherson County has acquired a BearCat in efforts to upgrade the capabilities of their Special Response Team and enhance the safety of the public and McPherson County officers. The Sheriff's Office and Police Department highlighted that the BearCat will significantly benefit the county by offering officers protection against gunfire during high-risk operations, improving standoff capabilities, increasing public safety through its de-escalation presence, and aiding in disaster response with its ability to navigate off-road and flooded areas.
