Key Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including reviewing Balance Sheet reconciliations and P&L Statements. • Analyze individual business income statements and provide commentary on trends and profitability. • Review complex journal entries (allocation entries, accruals, payroll, prepaid amortizations, intercompany entries, etc.). • Act as the primary contact for leaders of our operating companies, ensuring their accounting and reporting needs are met. • Assist in training and developing our accounting staff, fostering a high level of commitment and competence. • Develop and improve internal policies & procedures to ensure compliance and integrity. • Work cross-functionally to enhance financial reporting accuracy. • Travel occasionally (up to 15%).
