About us

Zealot allows you to build a community of advocates and invite your customers, developers, ambassadors, partners, and employees to complete missions, challenges, referrals, product reviews, social media posts, and more. As they complete these personalized challenges—which can be targeted to groups or individuals—they automatically earn points, badges, and levels to redeem professional perks and privileges. Easily visualize and report on all activities completed and the ROI of those activities, while integrating with your CRM and marketing automation platform to guide members through the entire customer journey.

Last month was fu*king insane. After (what felt like years) of: • Changing our positioning • Talking to customers for 16+ hrs a day • Ruthlessly asking ppl: "Why would you NOT buy this?!" to find what they WOULD pay for Something clicked (a story for another day). In a BIG way. Because just this last month alone... • MoM Revenue Up 438% • Tier 1 Investors Flooding Our Inbox • 276 Games of Ping Pong Played (Srikar Chava owes me July rent) • $6B company closed • $4B company closed • $25B company closing • IRL activation deal with a major retailer for 100+ stores nationwide • Several other $100M+ brands projected to close • Strategic Partnership w/ Largest Beauty Brand In the World • Strategic Partnership w/ Fast-Growing Community Platform • Strategic Partnership w/ a Top Consulting Firm • Shipped 13 New Product Updates • Expedited Zapier Integration, thanks to Mike Knoop Looking back, I think there are 5 big lessons from the recent "success" 𝟏. 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐬, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐬 ex. Your goal shouldn’t be to get $1M ARR. Your goal should be to post 3x per day or reach out to 100 prospects per day. Focus on what you can control. 𝟐. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐌𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐩. 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭, 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤, 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐭. What takes an average team weeks, takes the Zealot team hours. You need to move fast, even if you don't have 100% certainty of a decision. 𝟑. 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤. 𝐅𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬. Fake work is doing anything besides selling or building your product. Don't get caught up in this trap. Go sell or build, nothing else matters. 𝟒. 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐅𝐔𝐍 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐃𝐀𝐘 Most companies are too vanilla. They try to act super professional and show up to customer, investor, and internal meetings with zero energy. This is BS. At Zealot, we require at least 1 laugh to occur at every meeting. Energy is contagious. 𝟓. 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 / 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 Instead of trying to figure out what resonates with your customers by yourself, just ask them. Ask your customers to repeat back exactly the benefit your product provides them. Focus on the outcome of the product. ex. "Now you’ll be able to ___________" Next Up: 10x these results for July

Favorite way to use Zealot (very tactically) for a large brand ambassador program: 1) Place ambassador application link everywhere (Emails, Socials, QR codes on packaging, etc.) 2) Have 1000’s of ambassadors sign up, without requiring passwords or social account connection 3) Easily engage ambassadors with gamified missions like submitting UGC or posting 4) Ambassadors submit missions through a white-labeled advocate portal, where they can see a leaderboard, their earnings, and redeem points for rewards like store credit 5) All program rewards, reminders, payments, tax forms and communication is automated 6) Rinse and repeat on auto-pilot Old way of running an ambassador program: -Being limited to just rewarding ambassadors with commission -Ambassadors get bored and inactive, requiring extra effort to contact them -Being bogged down with admin tasks like receiving inbound applications, communication, payments, social tracking -Go on Grin or Aspire to find 5 expensive "influencers" -Limited to a one-off contract -Impossible to scale New way of running a successful ambassador program: -Gamified missions, tiers, leaderboards and automated follow-ups to keep ambassadors engaged -Using real brand fans, who genuinely love your brand and are more affordable/authentic than influencers -Engage and nurture ambassadors on a long-term basis -Ambassadors self manage links and payments in their advocate portal, making it easy to scale -Streamline applications, reporting, tax forms, link creation - all in one spot All done with: -Zealot Now imagine creating an army of ambassadors driving UGC and sales at scale, while you only pay out for performance. I was ~also~ using these influencer platforms to run ambassador programs (which didn’t work)…so decided to build what I always wanted. Proud to be the building what advocate marketing software should’ve looked like years ago.
