From day one at Inflection, we’ve been driven by a simple mission: creating a personal intelligence for everyone. To do this, we trained one of the best LLMs in the world, and created our first personal AI, Pi. As we’ve explored the space, it’s become clear that many developers and businesses want better access to tooling to be able to create their own AIs. We’re now ramping up our longstanding commitment to our API business and setting out to work directly with businesses and developers to put our technology into more hands than ever before. We’re thrilled to announce that we will now host Inflection 2.5 on Microsoft Azure helping us get it into the hands of creators the world over, and will be bringing it to other cloud providers in the near future. We’ll be opening our API and the fine tuning infra to go with it enabling everyone to produce bespoke AIs. More people, in more contexts than ever before, will be able to use our powerful technology and unique approach to fine-tuning and control. As part of the changes, we are announcing that two of our three co-founders, Mustafa and Karén, alongside several team members, will be leaving Inflection to start Microsoft AI, a new division at Microsoft where they will lead consumer AI products and research, including Copilot, Bing and Edge. We are grateful for all their amazing work in getting Inflection to this stage and wish them all the best for this next chapter. We are also announcing a new CEO, Sean White.
