Global Certification Forum (GCF) recently announced the addition of 3GPP-based Mission Critical Services (MCS) to its certification program. This is a significant development in the field of critical communications, aiming to enhance the reliability, interoperability, and performance of mission-critical communications systems. This program is being developed in collaboration with the TCCA-Critical Communications and represents a significant step forward in the standardization and certification of mission-critical communication technologies, ultimately contributing to improved public safety and emergency response capabilities. 5x5 Inspirations: A busy week at the 5x5 Public Safety Innovation Summit kicks off with a steady stream of "good to see you again" with 580 of my closest friends. It is great to see the folks traveling from overseas, including Guillaume LAMBERT, Tero Pesonen, Peter Clemons, Cate Walton, Renaud Mellies, and Antti Kauppinen. A real treat was seeing Reinard van Loo (Frequentis) and Pablo Rojas González (Nemergent Solutions SL). They are some of the folks behind the Frequentis client that made history by being the first to secure a Global Certification Forum (GCF) certificate of conformance for 3GPP MC-PTT.  #5x5Summit
