Our local Eatontown, NJ A&H summer interns beat the heat and had the opportunity to volunteer at the Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry. Together, they assisted in preparing food packages for distribution and packing visitors’ cars with groceries. Over two days of volunteering, they were able to help over 100 families. “It was great to see how all of us brought enthusiasm and dedication to helping those within our community,” said Jack Harris, one of the participating interns. “This experience has not only strengthened our teamwork skills but also deepened our commitment to making a meaningful difference and giving back to the community.” The Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry Inc. was founded in 1983 to provide food to families in need across the Northern Bayshore Area of Monmouth County. Members of our Accident & Health team tee’d off in the fight against cancer at the 46th Annual Jersey Shore Golf Classic & Party on the Patio! This event, benefitting the American Cancer Society, brought together more than 200 community leaders in the fight against cancer. C&F Morristown employees braved record-breaking temperatures to volunteer with Morris Habitat for Humanity in Roxbury Township, NJ last week. This past week, Jennifer Pedersen and Holly St. John from Business Development and Marketing at C&F’s Accident & Health Division had the exciting opportunity to participate in the United States Tour Operators Association 12th Annual Congressional Caucus in Washington, DC. They joined several teams of USTOA members including tour operators, travel advisors, carriers and suppliers to meet with elected officials and discuss key issues affecting US tourism and the travel industry.
