We can't change the past, but we can learn from others' mistakes. ⚖️ When it comes to saving for your retirement, balance is the key to success. Many retirees report wishing they had saved more throughout their lifetime, but we also see people regret sacrificing opportunities to experience life because they were too focused on saving for the future. ✔️ Many retirees regret spending too much time and effort on their careers and not enough time with their loved ones. Take the time now to identify and articulate your priorities so that you can focus on what really matters to you. 💲One common mistake made by many retirees is making a big financial move before fully settling into retirement. It’s wise to wait at least a year or two before making any other big financial moves. Instead, take smaller steps to test the waters before you commit. ⛑️ Some retirees regret not adequately planning for healthcare expenses in retirement. If you’re still working, consider saving in a health savings account (HSA).
