Clinica Sierra Vista, a non-profit corporation, was created to provide health care to poor, migrant farmworkers who harvest the lush agricultural fields in the southern San Joaquin Valley. Today, Clinica Sierra Vista serves a geographically dispersed, low-moderate-fixed income, ethnically diverse, frontier-rural-urban-migrant-homeless patient population. It has grown to be one of the largest comprehensive migrant/community health center systems in the state.

With a strong background as a Behavioral Health Therapist for children, she transitioned to a leadership role 2.5 years ago and now excels as the Clinical Manager for the Bakersfield Adults Behavioral Health (BH) Program. As the Clinical Manager, Kassi oversees the largest BH site in Bakersfield. This role came with its challenges, as the clinic was not performing to its full potential when she was asked to take charge 1.5 years ago. Under her guidance, the clinic has seen significant improvements. Kassi spearheaded construction initiatives to optimize the clinic's workflow and accommodate the growing program. She also implemented effective structures, processes, and workflows that have driven the clinic's success.
