We commemorate Juneteenth as a ministry committed to human dignity and equality and reflect on this day with this prayer. God of liberation, Today we celebrate Juneteenth, commemorating the end of slavery in America. Open our eyes that we might recognize in each other sisters and brothers with a common origin and a shared destiny. May this great celebration of liberty and life inspire us to continue the work of justice and freedom, pursuing and promoting the dignity of all. We pray in the name of God who strengthens us in our quest for love and light. Amen.

Bless all fathers with a deep and abiding appreciation for the significance of the role they play in the lives of their children. Fill their hearts with your Holy Spirit, inspiring them to model for their children your love and goodness. Help them to believe in their children as you believe in us. Light within each of us the flame of gratitude for the profound contribution our fathers make to our lives. May we always be grateful for the blessing of fathers, for their love and support, and for their encouragement throughout our journey, supporting our efforts to lead full, engaged, and meaningful lives. The journey to the 2025 unveiling of the Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center continues! As we inch closer to our 2025 opening, here's a behind-the-scenes look at the progress made in May. Milestones included: ✔️ Emergency generator delivered and installed ✔️ Exterior cast stone installation begun on the building ✔️ Drywall and medical gas installation ongoing ✔️ Patient room windows installed The new 98,000-square-foot facility signifies an expansion of services to those offered at Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View campus. It integrates the established free-standing emergency department, imaging center, and lab into a comprehensive medical facility. The hospital will include 18 medical/surgical beds and four operating rooms. Last Friday was #NationalBiketoWorkDay and associates in our Bon Secours -- Greenville market came out in full force to participate! They met up along the Swamp Rabbit Trail to bike to the hospital, where breakfast goodies were waiting. Participating in National Bike to Work Day was a fantastic way for our team to contribute to their own health and well-being while also taking a positive step towards environmental stewardship. To further celebrate the occasion, two brand new bike racks were installed just in time for the occasion at Bon Secours -- St. Francis Downtown Hospital so moving forward, all cyclists will have a place to park their bikes.
