As we marked in June the one-year anniversary of Mr. Bigelow's passing, we honored his memory by renaming the Bigelow Tea Brownstone at our Fairfield, CT office to The David C. Bigelow Brownstone. This space is a tribute and recreation of the original New York City Brownstone where the Bigelow family founded Bigelow Tea in 1945. The room now serves as a warm, inviting place for our employees to gather for meetings, enjoy their lunch, or simply reflect on the legacy and cherished memories of Mr. Bigelow. The Bigelow Tea Community Garden received an upgrade! Check out the new trellis installed by our summer interns. This addition will help our green beans grow. Bigelow is proud to be named Company Partner of the Year by The WorkPlace, a nonprofit organization that specializes in workforce development, for our state of Connecticut approved apprenticeship program. We're honored!

The Bigelow Tea team had an opportunity recently to support Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County in our hometown of Fairfield, CT. Their mission of building affordable homes in our community is something we can get behind and literally build up. Thank you for the invitation... we had so much fun!

June is the one-year mark of the passing of my father. I was blessed to celebrate Father's day with him for 63 years. I know this one will be exceptionally difficult, but I will continue to celebrate all that he taught me over our years together. The life lessons, the coaching and mentoring, and the unconditional love he provided me through the years, I will forever cherish. It is hard to thank him for all he did for me and so many others. Thanks Dad for being the best role model and for teaching me the importance of kindness and humility. I will work hard every day to live those lessons. Their first week has been packed with exciting activities including a comprehensive tea education session, a tour of our manufacturing facilities, a meet-and-greet with our executive team, and a sustainability walk led by our Green Team. We're thrilled to have such a talented group of undergrads and graduates with us this summer!

I have mixed emotions seeing this banner with my Dad's name on it. From one place, I am proud to support the 37th Annual Swim Across the Sound marathon with this Paint the City Blue Banner, but my heart is still so sad from his passing. I know time will help. - President and CEO, Cindi Bigelow
