Meet Andie Aylsworth - London-based interdisciplinary artist. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Andie learned a deep respect for nature from an early age as a result of her matrilineal kinship to the indigenous people of Ecuador. Andie creates using Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and reciprocal foraging to create textile works in collaboration with our non-human kin. Working with our team, Andie has created 20 one-of-a-kind framed tapestries in a variety of sizes, orientations, and colors. Andie’s pieces, along with the other YoungArts winners, will be available on Anthropologie.com in August. 🐾 Last week, we had a pawsome time celebrating the dogs of Anthro with a #CafeAnthro Pup Cup Pop-Up at our home office! Our team came together, transforming our courtyard into a cozy café for our furry friends. ☕️ On the menu: La Colombe Coffee Roasters canned coffees for the humans and signature pup cups for our beloved dogs. It was truly a bark-tastic event 🐶

This June, we celebrated with our store teams across the country to support grassroots LGBTQIA+ organizations. Meet Tiarra Bell – Philadelphia-based furniture designer and owner of Bellafonté Studio, an internationally recognized creative art studio that specializes in sculptural furniture. As this year's YoungArts recipient of the Anthropologie Leading with Creativity Award, Tiarra worked with our team to create five one-of-a-kind decorative furniture pieces. With a drive to express the inexpressible, Tiarra creates furniture that not only focuses on aesthetics, but rather creates a body of work that tells a visual, tangible story. 🌱 Last week, our team had an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact at FarmerJawn in West Chester, Pennsylvania! FarmerJawn has built a model that enables regenerative organic food production by and for underserved communities, and is the largest black-woman owned regenerative organic produce farm in America. At FarmerJawn's 128-acre farm, Home Office employees rolled up their sleeves to support the summer harvest preparations. Our volunteer day was a testament to our commitment to regenerative agriculture and our partnership with Kiss The Ground. It was inspiring to see firsthand how our efforts contribute to a healthier environment and support local food systems. A huge thank you to Christa Barfield, Public Health Innovator, FarmerJawn & Friends Foundation Fund and to everyone who participated and contributed to making this day a success! 🌾
