Almost 2 years ago to the day, I first saw the space at 267 Oxford Street in London. It has been a long journey to get from that day to today, when the new NBA London store officially opened for trade. There were countless individuals and teams that impacted this project and I'm beyond proud of the work that was done. Massive thanks to everyone involved! Thanks to David McCosh and Michael Lane for their representation. Thanks to James Andrews for his support from the Crown Estate. Thanks to Colin Somerville and the KDM team for an amazing fit out. Last week on November 16th the Lids Foundation along with Lids and Ames Watson worked with our partner KABOOM! to help finalize the build of the Fort Washington Park in Maryland. Our teams had a great day filled with hard work filling the playground areas with mulch, mixing cement, building picnic benches, and painting the sidewalks. This park was designed by the kids in the community, and they definitely brought in some fun elements that kids for years to come will enjoy. #lidsgives #lidsforkids
