2024 IAB Video Leadership Summit

Wendy Arnon is a collaborative modern marketer with ~20 years in senior agency and market research roles. Before joining the IAB, Wendy was Director of Agencies, Americas for YouGov where she built a collaborative, cross-functional global team that leveraged data to meet real-time agency and media owner needs. During her 13-year tenure at Omnicom Media Group, Wendy built a data-driven performance media agency, creating one of the best-performing business units in the network. Wendy served as President and Trusted Advisor leading the performance media strategy for brands including Cigna, Astellas, Clorox, Synchrony, Goldman Sachs, Ancestry, State Farm, University of Phoenix, and Acadia. While at OMG, Wendy led the launch of new digital products and expanded into new markets. She also headed the creation of a proprietary industry-first video visualization measurement & optimization platform.

Wendy was inducted into the DMN Marketing Hall of Femme, selected as a three-time International Echo judge, and continues as a member of the Point of Care Marketing Association Industry Advisory Group. Wendy is a graduate of Omnicom University’s Senior Management Program, led by Harvard Business School professors and considered one of the pre-eminent professional development programs within the industry, as well as a graduate of Long Island University.

Wendy enjoys great food and has a passion for movies and TV. She resides in New York with her husband, two sons, and adorable Bichon Frise.

As the head of global media revenue and growth at Roku, Jay leads the advertising business for Roku Media, helping the ad ecosystem succeed in TV streaming.

Prior to joining Roku, Jay was Chief Growth Officer of Publicis Groupe and U.S. CEO of the company’s media investment arm, Publicis Media Exchange (PMX). Askinasi also held executive leadership roles at Xandr and programmatic platform RUN.

Born and raised in New York, Askinasi received his Bachelor’s from University of Maryland, College Park.

Prior to taking on the reigns at Mirriad, Stephan worked for Publicis Groupe as the Global President Data, Technology and Innovation (2016-1018), Global CEO Vivaki (2014-2016), and as the International CEO Razorfish and Digitas (2009-2013).

Maureen has worked in the Media business for 25+ years as a leader in Strategic Investment guiding both clients and agency teams to driving maximum value in the marketplace. She has also focused on building relationships with the media partners to better facilitate the negotiations and client’s executions in market.

Maureen serves as the Chief Partnerships Officer at Initiative, where she oversees all investments across the portfolio of clients, including Amazon, T-Mobile, Liberty Mutual, Merck and Lego.


Prior to joining Initiative, Maureen was at Optimedia, where she most recently was EVP, Group Director of National Broadcast, where she oversaw the strategic investments across all clients. Her career has spanned both the buy- and sell-side, in agency and in house, holding positions at Discovery Communications, Universal McCann, and GM Mediaworks.

Maureen’s experience extends across several key categories including auto, retail, wireless, film/entertainment, beverage, pharma, casual dining, insurance and packaged goods. As an active member of the media industry, Maureen is on the 4 As National Broadcast Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Fordham University and is an active alumni sponsor.

Dan is the Chief Strategy Officer of XR. He leads the innovation and technology platform development with a customer-centric software release cycle, growing the company’s industry-leading, global platform with new capabilities every two weeks. With over 25 years of experience in business and technical leadership, systems architecture, application design and agile software delivery, Dan is known for developing transformative advertising technology solutions.

He is also an experienced speaker with a knack for bringing clarity to complex issues, just as XR simplifies the management and delivery of content in an increasingly complex media landscape.

Chris Bruderle brings over 25 years of experience in Data/Web Analytics and Media Market Research at premium Digital and Muti-Platform web publishers including The Daily Beast, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Conde Nast Publications and This Old House Ventures.

Before working at IAB where he leads research-based thought leadership initiatives, Chris was most recently VP, Analytics & Research at The Daily Beast where he spent nearly 7 years and was responsible for the tracking, analysis and reporting of The Daily Beast’s O&O site and off-platform data/analytics for Senior/Corporate Management, Editorial, Advertising Sales, Product/Engineering, Audience/Business Development, Social Media and PR. He established the company-wide Editorial Analytics and Advertising Sales data and research stacks which included, among others, Google Analytics, Parse.ly, Krux DMP, Optimizely, comScore, Kantar, Samba, Newswhip, Crowd Tangle, Buzzsumo, and CrazyEgg.

Prior to The Daily Beast, Chris spent 5 years as Associate and Acting Director at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia where he directed the correspondence and development of all research-based strategies supporting the Advertising Sales and Marketing staffs of each of the MSLO media brands and platforms across digital, mobile/tablet, TV, print and radio. Chris has also held marketing and market research positions at Conde Nast and Time Inc.

Chris started his career at BBDO as an Assistant Media Planner where he most notably completed the “Media Training Program”.

Jeffrey Bustos is the VP, MAD+Commerce (Measurement Addressability Data) at the IAB where he develops industry standards and guides for measurement and addressability solutions to enable revenue growth, efficiency, and scale with a focus in Retail Media Networks, Video / Advanced Television, and Privacy Enhancing Technology. Key projects include: Categorization & Definitions Buyers Guide for Retail Media, Data Clean Rooms and Privacy Preserving Solutions Research, and Attention & Engagement Metrics Standards. Previously Jeffrey worked at GroupM where he led Data & Audience Strategy for eCommerce clients, consulting them on cookieless solutions, audience strategy & activation, and data taxonomy & identity resolution for CDP and Data Clean Room activations.

Pete Crofut is Vice President, Business Development – Agencies & Brands at Wurl, a leader in the Connected TV industry. In his role, Pete oversees Wurl’s agency and brand advertiser partnerships, helping clients grow brand loyalty and reach new audiences on CTV. As Google’s former Chief Business Strategist, Google Marketing Platforms, he partnered with the company’s largest customers to enable their digital transformations, helping to drive more than $1 billion in incremental revenue on an annual basis. He also served as Director of Partnerships for other major advertising and technology companies prior to Wurl, including InfoTrust and Adswerve. Peter currently resides in Portland, Oregon. In his free time, he likes to spend time traveling, skiing, and golfing with his family.

Allyson Dietz leads Product Marketing for TruAudience Marketing Solutions at TransUnion. Allyson and her team are responsible for defining the positioning of the company’s identity, audiences & activation, data collaboration and marketing measurement & attribution solutions and tying the benefits of those to our client’s most pressing needs. Prior to TransUnion, Allyson drove product strategy and innovation planning at Numerator to support pricing, promotion, ecommerce, and advertising intelligence platforms. She began her career at Nielsen, advising global CPG and retail clients through foundational understanding of consumers & shoppers, identifying white space opportunities, improving innovation strategies, and optimizing their advertising dollars.

A seasoned executive with 24+ years of digital media, marketing and operations experience, Angelina Eng has focused her career on supporting agencies and brands to define, build and manage digital media and marketing efforts while enabling teams to operationally work efficiently and effectively with both internal and external partners and platforms. She’s been responsible for the development and management of internal systems and workflow, establishment of deliverable standards, designing ad trafficking and tracking guidelines, implementation of emerging platforms, as well as establishing best practices at companies such as Morgan Stanley, Merkle, Dentsu Aegis and Publicis Modem.

Over the years, She has been involved with multiple organizations and events to help define, establish and advocate some of the industry standards that we see in today’s digital media ecosystem (such as ad verification/brand safety, ad fraud, viewability and programmatic, social, etc)

Angelina has been awarded the AdMonsters 2018 Power List, IAB Data Rockstar 2016 and AdMonsters Digital Media Leadership Award 2016.

Before joining the IAB, Cintia Gabilan had experience working across global ad agencies (Wunderman Thompson and Dentsu), CPG (Unilever), and tech companies (Facebook and Amazon). She has global experience driving growth by overseeing marketing, communications, and sales strategy. With a Master’s in Business, she most recently built many strategic and significant marketing programs at Amazon Ads, such as their Customer Advisory Boards, Analysts Relations, Competitive Intelligence program, and more. You can find her exploring nature, playing sports, and baking with her husband and daughter in her free time.

Ron Gutman is Chief Executive Officer at Wurl, a leader in the Connected TV industry. Ron brings over 25 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry to Wurl, where he joined as Vice President Broadcast Engineering before being appointed Chief Technology Officer in 2018 and, subsequently, Chief Executive Officer in 2023. Prior to joining Wurl, Ron was the founder and Chief Technology Officer of Imagine Communications. He currently resides in San Diego, California.

Michael Hahn is Executive Vice President & General Counsel at IAB and IAB Tech Lab. Michael has responsibility for all legal matters, including the direction of legal strategy, privacy compliance, antitrust compliance, intellectual property rights issues, and general corporate matters. Michael is also responsible for serving as an advocate for the digital advertising industry on common legal issues affecting member companies.

Michael joined IAB and IAB Tech Lab from Lowenstein Sandler LLP where he served as Vice Chair of the firm’s Antitrust Practice Group. In that role, he provided clients with strategic counsel around competition, distribution and governance issues. In the area of litigation, Michael’s matters have included multiparty class action antitrust defense representation.

Michael served previously as Co-Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Antitrust Law Committee. He also previously served on the Editorial Advisory Board of Competition Law 360 and the Advisory Board of the American Bar Association Antitrust Section’s Civil Torts & RICO Committee. Michael frequently publishes on a range of legal and policy issues.

Michael earned his B.A. in History and Political Science from Rutgers University, M.P.P. from Georgetown University and J.D. for Georgetown University Law Center.

Julia is an established commerce media strategist known for driving innovation across the path-to-purchase taking a results-oriented approach. She has 15+ years experience both client and agency side driving growth in retail media, connected commerce, experiential and integrated marketing solutions. She has a passion for innovation and has a proven track record of delivering first to market ideas for brands and retailers leveraging technology to unlock new commerce models and removing purchase barriers.

After starting her career on Wall Street, Julia spent 10 years client side within the home improvement industry developing their color technology platform, launched their DTC Ecommerce business, and oversaw their retail marketing for the independent hardware channel.

Julia has been with Mars United Commerce since 2015 and leads the Contextual Commerce practice, focused on development and delivery of best-in-class full funnel media strategies and plans for all clients at the agency. She was awarded the 2022 Path to Purchase Institute’s Women of Excellence Award in the Innovation category.

Julia holds a MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and a BA from Drew University. On her spare time, Julia can be found either cheering for or coaching her 11-year old son and 12-year old daughter’s sports teams or enjoying a glass of wine with her husband, friends and family.

Michael Nathanson is a Senior Research Analyst at MoffettNathanson, covering both the media industry and the leading digital advertising companies.

Prior to co-founding MoffettNathanson in 2013, Michael worked at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC from 1998 to 2010 and at Nomura from 2010 to 2013. Before he began working on Wall Street, Nathanson held strategic planning and financial analysis positions at Time Warner, Cablevision and MGM.

He earned a B.A. from Brandeis University and a master’s degree from the Yale School of Management.

Ram joined Havas Media Network (HMN) in August 2021. At HMN, he leads CSA North America, a data & technology consulting organization rooted in meaningful business growth.

With his rich experience across client, agency and consulting companies in the fields of data, tech, advanced analytics and measurement, Ram and his team find every opportunity to optimize clients’ marketing and media investment decisions.

Ram is a board member of IAB’s Measurement, Addressability & Data Center. In this capacity, he has contributed to the IAB State of Data Reports and been a panelist on topics such as data collaboration and audience insights. He was recently recognized as an AdWeek 2024 Media All Star.

Nicole Scaglione has been working in the ad tech space for more than a decade. She joined PubMatic in 2021 to manage the OTT/CTV business globally and has since expanded her role to take on all things online video.

Prior to PubMatic, Nicole ran the West Coast AdvancedTV programmatic sales team for Hulu and oversaw the West and Midwest sales teams at Telaria.

Nicole holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University.

Aaron Sobol leads media investment at Unilever and has a wealth of investment and partnership experience across all channels. Aaron’s 16+ years in media spans a range of categories and marketers, from Coke and Microsoft to Fiat Chrysler.

Zoe Soon has 10+ years of experience building products in technology-driven businesses with a heavy focus on mobile. Six years ago Zoe flew 21 hours from Sydney to NYC for a 30min coffee meeting which led to her first job in NYC. Since then she’s worked with three major New York based media companies, The New York Times, Condé Nast and Business Insider on projects ranging from location-based apps to paywalls. Zoe began her career as a user researcher and UX design consultant working with three of the top five banks in Australia. She was then hired to establish a user insights practice at Fairfax Media, a leading Australian news and media conglomerate. Here she led the user research for the flagship news apps which won Best Mobile News Product at the 2012 Australian Mobile Awards and went on to become product lead for the news sites. In this role she launched a content paywall and a unified user data system to diversify revenue and enable more targeted marketing.

Prior to joining the IAB Zoe was General Manager of apps and email at Business Insider where she was charged with defining the go-to market strategy for these platforms. In this role Zoe launched Insider Inc’s first OTT apps across Apple, Amazon Fire and Roku offering advertisers cross-platform video digital distribution and access to an audience that generates over 2 billion views each month.

Zoe has a Masters in Organizational Psychology and lives in New York. She enjoys burning pancakes, Cuban salsa dancing and talking to strangers in line.

Pam is a 30+ year veteran of the media and marketing industry who is a proven media strategist across digital, programmatic, and traditional platforms. Known for innovative approaches to media and marketing challenges that turn the complex media eco system into understandable ideas for both the C-Suite and day-to-day tacticians. Pam sees the world as a white board – empty, boundless space to create, transform and innovate for growth; to re-imagine how media and marketing can work to grow brands and build companies. Pam believes winning at the intersection of data, content, marketplace, and technology means refusing to let the status quo be good enough and being humble enough to know true transformation takes collaboration, iteration, willpower, and trust.

Pam spent her first 25 years on the agency side at Publicis Media leading clients such as Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, Activision, Yahoo and others. In addition to client leadership Pam built new practices for the agency including Advanced TV and Experience Design. To broaden her experience, Pam also spent 3 years leading Media for Starcom Mediavest Group in Russia when that market first opened to media in the mid-1990s. This taught Pam that anything is possible to create in the marketplace with some ingenuity, marketplace knowledge, and a relentless push creates win – win – win experiences for consumers, marketers and publishers. Following her work on the agency side, Pam spent five years consulting for the media and technology companies (NBCU, Fox, Viacom, Double Verify) helping them design custom programs and market their digital assets for growth. For the past fifteen months, Pam has been at Amobee, an Ad Tech firm, leading their marketing and sales strategy efforts to bring new identity, performance and new targeting techniques to the DSP and cross channel planning marketplace.

Pam lives in Hastings on Hudson, NY with her two sons.
