it was ok

bookshelves: overrated

I do not understand the adoration for this book. Fitzgerald is a great writer but it's a fluffy topic and I don't understand how no one sees Nick as a creepy hanger-on of the wealthy. Rich people are not better just because they are rich. We prove that at least every 20 years with the rolling of the styles and economy.
