it was amazing

** spoiler alert ** This was, I must say, one of the best books I have ever read in my life. Short and effortless acting, it was interesting and the way Orwell wrote the book was so unique. He never pointed out to the corruption and the cunning of 'The Leader Comrade Napoleon' but it was self understood.

The characters were of as much flesh and blood as you and me. The clever poetry and song added more glamour to the book.

The satire was hilarious yet relatable. The importance of literacy was pointed out, and the biggest point it made was that no matter who rules the common people always remain suppressed. There were no specific lines I loved but whole paragraphs I wanted to read and reread. From the moment I began, I wished that this would never end. Yet one beautiful line was, 'All animals are equal but some are more equal than others' and (I don't remember it verbatim) The animals looked from man to pig and pig to man but they really could not tell which was which'.

Boxer's character was beautiful and symbolized those who believe more in strength than wit. The clever oration of Squealer was so beautiful and the animal class system was so gradually and effectively built here with pigs being so superior.

Absolutely loved it, it is worth the praise and a must read!
