keep isaiah in your basement dungeon jail all locked up his std ridden dick is a threat to kennedy. this walking hazard paraded and flaunted his hook ups in front of her face for years and we’re supposed to be convinced that he was pining and of a love story??? give me a break. plus their interactions were so icky. people be like she was like in a relationship what was he supposed to do but that didn’t stop him from constantly harassing her and showing no respect for her relationship 🤨

Someone give Liz her flowers because yeah, she really did do that!! THIS WAS EVERYTHING I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED!!! The way this put me in a chokehold from the beginning and held me hostage until the minute I put it down. OBSESSED!! Shame on me for ever doubting that Isaiah and Kennedy’s romance story would be anything short of pure perfection!
This delivered in every aspect!!! Liz quite literally plated up a steamy pipping hot romance story between two people that gave tension, banter, SPICE, emotional vulnerability, raw and tender moment then said “DINNER IS SERVED” and let me tell you, I was well fed, the best version of girl dinner if I’ve seen it.
But seriously Isaiah gave Kennedy the love this girl freaking deserved from the very start and he showed up time and time again, our green flag king!! He is truly the sweetest most softest tender hearted man known to human kind, truly Ryan Shay standards. Also Kennedy, ugh my heart was weeping for her! She was such a strong + independent woman and seeing her finally receive the treatment she deserved got me teary eyed! These two have both been through it and are honestly two puzzle pieces finally finding each other!
You are probably like girl shut up, get to the point!

with every book i can't imagine loving it more than the last, and yet here we are!! another set of characters who have truly made a home for themselves in my heart. liz has such a way with writing characters that complement each other so perfectly. isaiah and kennedy were so different but took the time to really see beneath the surface and love the other person in the exact way that they needed and had been lacking and i just loved their love!!!! this truly showed what it was like to have your walls come down with another person, on both their parts!! it had the perfect balance of heart and vulnerability with so many light, funny moments and H O T moments good heavens. loved getting to see so much of the whole crew from the series, felt like spending a weekend with old friends.
i couldn’t think of two narrators better for the roles than samantha brentmoor and jacob morgan, they brought these characters to life perfectly - highly highly recommend the audio!!

You guys. It's official. I'm in love with Isaiah "my wife" Rhodes. And ofc, Kennedy too. I knew that this book would be good - because HI HELLO IT'S A LIZ TOMFORDE BOOK - but I didn't expect to love IsaiahKennedy this much! The banter, the wholesome moments, the spicy times...everything was PERFECT. I can't believe that there's one more book to go and then the end of a series and a whole era🥺 Every single second that I spent reading Play Along was absolutely incredible. I got emotional, I giggled and I melted into a puddle of mush after seeing Isaiah so far gone for Kenny. And as a certified praise kink whore, I LOVED Isaiah's filthy ass mouth🥵 Seeing the gang again was so freaking amazing as well. Special shoutout to my sweet baby boy Max because I missed him terribly😭🫶🏾 Not even surprised that this turned out to be another 5 star read because it's pretty much tradition atp to rate any Liz Tomforde book 5 stars hahah🙈 With that being said, I'm SUPER stoked for my husband and baby daddy, Rio's book!!! I've said this before and I'll say it again...I'll fight anybody who tries to steal my man🥊🥊🥊 I've claimed Rio since my wattpad days so Y'ALL BETTER BACK OFF OR BE READY TO THROW HANDS *bows down* *slowly pulls out her sword*

Kennedy is trying her hardest to hold back her smile. They’ve worked together for three years and my brother has tried his best to get her in his bed. It hasn’t worked. Though, the girl used to have a diamond on her left ring finger, and this season she doesn’t, so who knows, maybe that’s reignited his determination.
“If you like pain so much, get back on this table.” She pats the cushion.
“Kenny, you’ve had a long day. I’m good. I don’t want you working too hard.”
She laughs, shaking her head and walking away. “Wimp.”
My doctor continues to stretch out my throwing arm as I speak to my brother. “You’re going to drive her to quit one day.”
“Nah,” Isaiah says, his voice growing louder as he walks to my table, looking down at me. “She’s in love with me. She has absolutely no idea, but she is. And clearly, I’m in love with her.”

I am personally not the biggest fan of the "marriage of convenience / accidental marriage" trope, but all you have to do is leave it to Liz Tomforde and she'll make sure to make you question your preferences because this was perfectly executed!!! 💜💜💜
Now ... this wasn't able to top "Caught Up" and "The Right Move" for me but it was a great follow up book!! The first 30% of this book felt very lighthearted, it was funny, specially considering how straightforward Isaiah has been in the previous books but as the story moved forward, you start to find out more about his character and why he is the way that he is. My sweet, caring man, I simply loved him to pieces!!!
On the other hand, Kennedy is such a strong FMC!!! she has been through so much and I loved seeing her finding her confidence again and learning how to put everyone else in their place. It was so endearing seeing Isaiah helping and protecting Kennedy but specially both of them taking care of each other.💖
Like I said, after that 30% mark this one gets more emotional and I ended up crying 80% into it because it was just too sweet not to!! 😭 acts of service will always do it for me, it's true
Also, like all the previous books in this series, this one is SUPER spicy and in that department this one checked all of my boxes 🤪🌶️
Anyways, I loved this one so so much and I can't wait to read Kio's book.

This was hands down the most emotional book in the series. Forget everything you thought you knew about Isaiah because baby he is HUSBAND MATERIAL, and Kennedy didn’t stand a CHANCE.
I have all the warm fuzzy feels being back in a Liz book with these characters we’ve come to love so much! Isaiah and Kennedy as a couple were a great addition to the found family, and I wish I could reread this book and the series for the first time again.

Each time i think it can't get any better, Liz proves me wrong. Her characters feel so FRESH and real. On a line level, her writing is incredible! I love these books like they're my best friends. I'll try to write a more coherent review soon but god this is so good.

Absolute masterpiece. I have no words other than this book is AMAZING.
I went through every emotion possible during this. Crying, laughing, grinning like an idiot, kicking my feet, back to SOBBING. I just love Kennedy & Isaiah so much and I will never get over this book. LIKE EVER. 💜⚾️
I absolutely loved Kai & Miller and I did not expect to cry even more reading Kennedy & Isaiah’s story. I just keep saying Isaiah is so perfectly imperfect and there’s no other way to describe him. I love him so much.
Kennedy has things from her past that play a huge factor in this book. I loved getting a deeper look into her past and what makes her Kennedy. I love how Isaiah has been all for her since day 1 (yes his obsession is known in caught up). The way these two interact has me in shambles.
Come on, wife. Play along🥹👀

oh my god this was SO FUNNNNN!! I got the listen to the audio early and the casting was SO PERFECT for their dynamic. they’re sweet and hot and funny and wow I just had such a blast. I can’t decide if this may be my new fav Liz book?!?! definitely number 2 if not 1!!!! can’t wait for everyone to read 🙂↕️
