A sweet and poignant story

This is one of those classics that are so good that after listening on audiobook you want to go out and get the bound book version and read again right away. I am not sure how I have not read/heard this before the age of 58-but am glad I have now.
I love when a story gives you the feels.

Loved main character. Having people in my life that are autistic I appreciate how she is portrayed-perfect!

Voice actor is perfect for this! I enjoyed the story-related way too much to some of the characters and the thoughts they have about their current and on going experiences.
Brings to mind my favorite lyric from one of my favorite bands, The Wallflowers,
“There’s got to be something better than in the middle”

I have 27 theories of what’s happening and hope I’m wrong 27 times. I am loving this story. Although the idea of motherhood making you a better human is a bit far fetched (hahaha!!) I mean-what a stretch…..Will edit in a couple hours when all will be revealed…..
